In all CREATIME products, the chime of the gong accompanies your practice. However, as indicated by its name, the Combi Timer combines several functions: both those of the Meditation Timer and the Reiki Timer.
It is set in two steps:
The Combi Timer is very useful for meditators who wish to "work" at their meditation. It is used to alternate between periods of concentration on various objects of meditation or visualizations, or to move from a period of focused attention to one of contemplation.
And when meditation becomes a "way of being", the Combi Timer remains a welcome reminder of mindfulness at any time of day.
The wooden part of the Combi Timer pyramid is entirely handmade of solid wood. It is built to the exact proportions of the Kheops pyramid, which Feng Shui specialists consider a source of powerful energy and stability. It measures 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) along its base.
Choice of wood/finish for the Combi Timer:
The sound of the Combi Timer is that of a Tibetan "singing bowl", which has been digitally recorded for the purest quality. The volume is adjustable (2 settings).

The Combi Timer runs on 4 AA batteries - not supplied.
Please do not use rechargeable batteries (they might discharge too fast), or saline or lithium batteries.

When the mind is agitated, an attention reminder at regular intervals keeps distracting thoughts from taking over.
The interval between the gong chimes can be set according to your state of mind, e.g., more often when the mind is particularly agitated. It is good to occasionally change this interval in order to avoid new habit patterns and remain fully alert in a state of mindfulness.
Many meditation teachers recommend the chiming of a gong as an ideal tool for recollection of mindfulness, not only during sitting meditation when thoughts wander away, but also throughout the day.
